Midis, the official Odoo partner in Latvia, is excited to share the latest updates to Odoo Enterprise policy — changes that significantly improve support options for companies using older Odoo versions.
What’s Changing?
Until now, Odoo Enterprise support was only available for the three most recent versions — approximately up to 3 years after release. This often meant businesses had to plan regular upgrades to retain official support.
Now that’s changing — Odoo has announced that all versions will now be supported, regardless of age. Yes, even users on Odoo 12 will be eligible for assistance, security updates, and bug fixes!
What Does This Mean for Your Business?
- No more pressure to upgrade quickly — you can work at your own pace.
- Receive quality Odoo support even if you're running an older version.
- You still have the option to upgrade and benefit from the latest features when ready.
Additional Fee – Just a Small One
Support for older versions (more than 3 releases behind) will come with a 25% additional fee on the annual Enterprise subscription. This approach gives you the flexibility to either upgrade in time or continue with your current version and still receive support.
Important: This policy applies starting today and covers new and renewed Odoo.sh and On-Premise contracts. Odoo Online users are not affected, as their systems are automatically upgraded.
When Does This Start?
To give businesses time to adapt, the additional fee won’t be charged before April 2026. That gives you more than enough time to assess your IT strategy and make the right decision.
