Project NATTOUR LV-RU-030

A platform for improving tourism in Ludza region and Sebeža district

NATTOUR LV-RU-030 is an interactive platform that will allow tourists and anyone interested to learn more

Tourism interactively improving through IT technologies

Our client Ludza municipality, which in cooperation with the neighbouring country - the Russian Federation (Sebezh district), developed a twinning project, "Introduction of innovative interactive methods for improving the city's natural objects and creating a more environmentally conscious society and nature tourism sector in Latgale region and Pskov region" or NATTOUR for short. It is part of the "Latvia-Russia Cross-Border Cooperation Program 2014-2020."

As part of the project, Midis developed an interactive platform called NATTOUR LV-RU-030. Every interested person will connect to the platform using a computer or mobile phone and get acquainted with tourism opportunities in the Ludza region and Sebezh district in an interactive way - photo gallery, games, maps with objects, etc. Another interesting moment is that the platform will operate on an information stand in three languages, located in Ludza City Park and Sebezh City Square.

Midis makes sure that each client understands the nuances of the technological development of the project, as well as gets the maximum added value. During the project's development, we advised the client and offered various essential solutions that were not covered in the project specification but could significantly improve the platform. In addition, we taught clients to use the iterative project development method, which opened a new perspective for them in the IT industry.
